Reunited and it feels so… absolutely perfect.

Kathryn Erbe will be rejoining ex-partner Vincent D’Onofrio for the 10th and final season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, a USA Network spokesperson confirms.

News of Erbe’s freshly-inked deal comes roughly three weeks after D’Onofrio announced his own return to the show.

“I’m excited and grateful that Katie has decided to rejoin one of the best detective teams in the history of television,” said exec producer Dick Wolf in a statement.

D’Onofrio and Erbe left CI at the beginning of the show’s ninth season. They were replaced by Jeff Goldblum and Saffron Burrows.

CI‘s eight episode farewell season premieres sometime in 2011.

Reaction? Considering this is what more than 98 percent of you were clamoring for, I’m guessing you’re pretty psyched.

CI Season 4 Cover Art

The cover art for Season 4 has finally been released!  There are no special features, and I am kinda bummed that they've changed the art to look like the new SVU covers... Its a pet peeve of mine when my box sets dont match lol

See below the cut for the pic

Got Eames?Collapse )

The show may still be airing its eighth season right now, but on DVD fans are just now getting a release date for Law & Order: Criminal Intent - The 4th Year (with episodes from the 2004-05 season). Early this past April we passed along to our readers that this title could be pre-ordered from Amazon, but this was prior to Universal Studio formally announcing the set. Today they made it official, though, schedule it to arrive on November 24th.

As previously reported, these 23 episodes will cost $59.98 SRP, but you can lock in your copy at a discount by placing an advance order at the provided Amazon link. This 5-disc set will run 1012 minutes, and is presented in anamorphic widescreen video and English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Subtitles are provided in English and Spanish. Official package art isn't available yet, but stay tuned and we'll bring it to you just as soon as we can!

That's the title of the article you can find HERE

Just to ease your worried minds, here is a quote that made my fear subside:

Vincent D'Onofrio's "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" contract is coming up for renewal, but producer Dick Wolf need have no concern that the actor will be leaving his role as the series' Det. Robert Goren.
As the old saying goes.. PICS or it didnt happen .. so.. here's proof!
